Apologetics is the defense of the Christian faith. There are two main
types of apologetics. The first is presuppositionalism. That was
proposed by Cornelius Van Til. Presuppositional apologetics state you
can't prove the faith, only tear down false presupps (assumptions). Evidentialism is the proving of the faith with facts. Personally, I prefer Presuppositional apologetics, because you can't really "prove" the faith. Scientifically, you can't prove the existence of God. Sure, you can point out the accuracy of the Holy Scriptures, but skeptics will always find a way to get around it. You can't prove, you live by faith.
